The Polk County Bail Bond Board was created in August, 2006, pursuant to the authority of Section 1704.052, of the Texas Occupations Code.  The Board licenses and regulates bail bondsmen within Polk County.  The Board meets each month.  Additional meetings may be called.  The next regularly scheduled meeting is September 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., in the Commissioner’s Court Courtroom, Polk County Courthouse, Livingston, Texas.
