    • Roads that are not county maintained roads can be presented to Commissioners Court for approval for adoption after they are brought up to county specifications at your or your property owners associations expense.                                                 Mission Statement

The mission of Polk County Precinct 1 Road and Bridge Department is to provide citizens the safest road conditions possible through dedicated construction and maintenance of all County maintained roads and bridges. Our departmental personnel deliver courteous public service by being helpful and informative, and upholding the policies approved by the Commissioners Court. Our goal is to continuously strive for maintenance improvements throughout our precinct.
